Sailing fills Petter with an immense feeling of freedom and mastery, as he glide “for free” with the wind at just the perfect speed to truly savor and soak in the surrounding nature. Petter loves the life on a sailboat and being able to fix stuff on board is a skill that comes in handy for him. Meeting all the amazing and inspiring people coming from very different backgrounds and walks of life sharing the same passion for adventure (and sailing!), is what I like most about sailing with SeilNorge.

Tina is the marketing mackerel at SeilNorge. She shares the most fabulous posts on Facebook and Instagram, getting everyone in the wanderlust mood! In between her social media updates, she’s out there riding the waves with her surfboard. Tina also joins SeilNorge trips as a crew member- and one day she will move into her very own sailboat and sail around the world!

Emil, the founder & Captain of SeilNorge. Emil grew up on a boat at sea, among the rocky shores of Tjøme, South of Norway, and in the beautiful summer light of Helgeland. Emil works hard at the office so he can spend most of his days where he enjoys it the most: on the Helgeland coast with a fleet of sailboats brimming with adventurous expedition participants! He brought the joy of demanding navigation through islets and reefs from the Navy, and as a skipper, he’s known for giving the crew plenty of challenges and responsibilities. Emil’s grandfather spent 55 seasons in Lofoten as a fisherman, and Emil is working on matching that record!

Meet Mari, the regatta sailor who’s head over heels in love with cruising in the North of Norway! Mari joined the SeilNorge crew after being a guest on one of their trips in 2016, but her sailing journey began when she was just 8 years old. Back then, it was all about dinghy racing. Thanks to SeilNorge, she discovered the joy of leisurely sailing in the beautiful north, and now she’s an integral part of the team. Her extensive experience in the racing community, which she’s still very much a part of, influences the trips she’s on today. It’s always a blast to sail a little faster than the others, and she’s more than happy to share her knowledge and skills with fellow sailors. Smooth sailing and high spirits are always on the horizon when Mari’s around!

Anne is the Marketing Skipper at SeilNorge. She is a lively girl who comes from the mountains, without a single drop of saltwater – not even sailboats! Despite the lack of sea access, she spent several years working on board Hurtigruten, a Norwegian cruise line, and she has been promoting boat-related adventures for years. She loves everything about communication and the lively and bustling everyday life at SeilNorge.

Knut is the ultimate multitasker! He tries to keep track of all our boats, guests, bookings, crew, technical stuff and whatever might show up on our way. Eager sailor on his own boats and constantly looking for something to adjust and improve.

Anette is crunching numbers and taming spreadsheets with finesse. When she’s not diving deep into her Excel sheets, you’ll find her living the van life on the rugged shores of Stadt, riding the waves and surfing her heart out. She’s our financial wizard by day and a surf-obsessed camper by night!

What started as a brief backpacking adventure to Norway and a break from veterinary studies turned into falling in love with sailing and SeilNorge! She lends a hand on the boats wherever and whenever needed. Giselle enjoys creating unforgettable shared memories, exploring together, getting to know one another, and learning from each other. And that’s precisely what we do on SeilNorge trips! Let’s make some waves and memories together!
