Expedition Greenland 2025

In 2025 we set sail for new adventures and exploration of Greenland, all summer long! This is a dream we’ve had for a long time and finally the time has come! We know there are a lot of adventurers out there, waiting to explore the natural wonders, spectacular scenery and the inuit heritage of Greenland together with us!

Trip nr 1; From Iceland to Greenland’s mountainous south tip

Finally we kick off the Greenland Expedition 2025! This adventure begins in Ísafjörður, Iceland, where we set sail for a 4-day ocean crossing across the Denmark Strait to the south coast of Greenland. With a total of 11 days, we have plenty of time to explore the majestic landscape and fjords on the coastal voyage around Prince Christian Sound and Tasermiut. Tasermiut has some of Greenland’s, and perhaps the world’s, most magnificent alpine scenery and mountains. Where we will go hiking and explore on land, while we sail up to Narsarsuaq, nestled in the bottom of Eriksfjord.

Highlights

  • 4 days of propper ocean crossing!
  • Sail into the spectacular Tasermiut Fjord, a jewel of South Greenland.
  • Hiking! One of the most spectacular mountain areas in all of Greenland, and indeed the whole world!

Some nights we find a secluded anchorage, while others we sail through the bright night under the midnight sun and towering icebergs. Before reaching our final destination, we also explore the Ilulissat Icefjord. Where the Sermeq Kujalleq glacier calves into the fjord, birthing the world’s largest icebergs directly from the vast inland ice sheet.

Highlights

  • We visits several Inuit villages and get close to the locals
  • Fjords, islands and mountains – and we visit the spectacular Eternity Fjord.
  • Sisimiut is one of our favorite towns in Greenland. It is a picturesque town, and the second largest in the country.
