Sailing Adventures in Tromsø

Winter sailing is something else. Out at sea, the darkness of the Arctic winter opens up a whole new world. The days glow like endless sunrises and sunsets, and at night the northern lights steal the show. From the deck of a sailboat, you are right in the middle of it all.

When you step on board, we start with a short safety briefing before letting the lines go and heading out around Tromsø island. This is a hands-on trip — you’re welcome to take part in sailing: trim the sails, take the helm, or just lean back and enjoy. Want to try your fishing luck? Drop a line — maybe you’ll catch your own lunch.

Daytime Sailing

In winter, the Arctic days are painted in soft pastels. The sky glows like an endless sunrise and sunset, and from the deck of a sailboat, you’re in the middle of it all — far from the noise, surrounded by sea, silence, and wild beauty.

Afternoon Sailing

We set sail from Tromsø and leave the city lights behind. If the aurora shows, you’ll see it the way it’s meant to be seen: without city noise, without light pollution—just the sound of nature, the cold air, and the sky above.

Departure daytime: 17:00 pm.

On this trip we sail one of our 50 feet boats. 

Price & Booking

We have capacity for groups up to 12 persons.
Price per trip: NOK 9.500 (up to 6 guests)
Extra cost per person nr. 7-12: NOK 1.000

What is included?

• An experience with a sailboat with a skipper with local knowledge
• An environmentally friendly, local, sustainable and exotic adventure 
• A lot of time outdoors – raw and honest nature experiences
• Coffee, tea and hot chocolate 
• A light, warm meal
• Drinking water available
• All boat-related costs such as diesel, propane and harbor fees
• Personal safety equipment; Helly Hansen inflatable lifejacket

• Travel to and from the start/end location
• Travel insurance and/or cancellation insurance – (up to you, but recommended!)

• The trip starts by “Pust”, in Tromsø harbour. Adress: Stortorget 2, 9008 Tromsø
• There is a galley (small kitchen) with cooking facilities and a small fridge, if you would like to bring some private drinks or snacks. 
• Please bring: Warm clothes, warm shoes, hat and mittens
• Number of participants: min 1 – max 12
• Level of difficulty: Easy. Little physical activity involved
