Beginners course; learn a lot in a short time!
This weekend sailing course is designed for anyone with little or no previous sailing experience. Whether you’ve never been on a boat, are transitioning from motorboats, or simply want to go beyond being a passenger and take an active role in sailing, this course is ideal for you!
SeilNorge has developed and refined our courses over several years. The course covers the most important skills you need before setting out on your own. You’ll learn both the theoretical and practical aspects of sailing in a safe and supportive environment. The course is conducted in Norwegian unless otherwise requested.

The weekend course is Friday afternoon from 17-21pm, Saturday 10am-16pm and Sunday 10am-15pm.

Remember to bring a water bottle and packed lunch, maybe not on Friday as it is a shorter day. And if you want, some snack for the breaks. We have coffee and tea on board.

After completing the course, you will receive our SeilNorge Competent Crew course certificate. At many places, this can be used for renting a boat in e.g. Mediterranean Sea. (Some need the next level ICC certificate)
More sailing!
After this sailing course, you can take part in our ICC course or our long-weekend course which gives you more time for practice and learning. The course is well suited if you are thinking of taking the ICC as most of the exercises and theory are reviewed.
